Upgrading & Managing Your Billing

SeasonKeep has a free plan plus three paid plans. This guide covers how to upgrade, the difference between monthly and annual billing, and how to manage your subscription after you've subscribed.

How to Upgrade

  1. Go to Settings in the sidebar, then open the Billing tab
  2. Choose the plan you want and click Upgrade to
  3. A secure checkout opens right inside the app — enter your payment details (and a promo code, if you have one)
  4. Once payment is confirmed, your new features unlock immediately and you're returned to your dashboard

Your card is handled entirely by Stripe — SeasonKeep never sees or stores your card number.

Monthly vs. Annual

Every paid plan can be billed monthly or annually. Annual billing saves about 33% compared to paying month to month — for example, Home Plan is $4.99/month or $39.99 for the whole year. Use the Monthly / Annual toggle on the pricing cards to switch before you check out.

Free Trial

Annual plans include a 14-day free trial for new customers. The trial applies only when you choose an annual plan and it's your first time subscribing — if you've subscribed before (even on a plan you later canceled), the trial doesn't apply again. Monthly plans don't include a trial.

Changing or Canceling Your Plan

Once you're a paid subscriber, manage everything from the Stripe Customer Portal:

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Click Manage Subscription

In the portal you can:

  • Switch plans — upgrade or downgrade between paid tiers
  • Update your payment method
  • View and download invoices
  • Cancel your subscription

When you change plans, Stripe shows any prorated amount before you confirm. A downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period — your current plan stays active until then, and SeasonKeep shows you the date the change takes effect. If a Payment Fails

If a renewal payment doesn't go through, your account temporarily reverts to Free-level access and paid features are locked until payment succeeds. Your data is never deleted. Update your payment method in Settings > Billing > Manage Subscription to restore your plan.
