Managing Your Schedule
Your SeasonKeep calendar is your go-to view for everything happening with your home maintenance. Here's how to get the most out of it.
Viewing Your Calendar
The Calendar page shows all your maintenance tasks organized by month. You can:
- Browse by month — Use the navigation arrows to move between months
- Filter by system — Use the sidebar to see tasks for a specific system (HVAC, roofing, plumbing, etc.)
- See task details — Click any task to view its full description, cost estimates, and DIY difficulty rating
Understanding Task Status
Each task has a status indicator:
- Upcoming — Scheduled for the future, no action needed yet
- Due — The task is within its recommended window
- Needs Attention — The task requires your review before it becomes due
- Overdue — Past the recommended date and should be addressed soon
- Completed — You've marked it as done
- Skipped — You chose to skip this occurrence
- Snoozed — Postponed to a later date
Choosing What Applies to Your Home
SeasonKeep starts with broad recommendations so useful maintenance is not hidden from you. Your calendar is not a fixed checklist.
Open Calendar, then choose Customize to:
- See how many tasks are scheduled in the next 30 days and next 12 months
- Review recommendations by home system
- Search for a specific task or system
- Uncheck recommendations that do not apply to your home
- Restore a recommendation later if your home changes
Changing applicability is available on every plan. Only a home owner can make this change because it updates the shared schedule for everyone with access to that home.
Removing a recommendation hides its open occurrences from the calendar without erasing their records or your completed and skipped history. SeasonKeep asks for confirmation before removing high or critical recommendations.
You can also remove one recommendation at a time: open the task and choose Doesn't Apply. Restore removed recommendations from Home Settings or the schedule customizer.
Staying on Track
SeasonKeep sends you reminders based on your notification preferences. You can receive daily task alerts, weekly digests, and seasonal summaries to help you stay organized.
